On Monday we got split into 3 groups of 5 but my group only had 4 members, the group was Katie, Josh, Jordan and me. Each group got given different categories on what to research, group one was given Market Research, group 2 was given Production Research and our group got gave Audience Research. Once we had been given our groups and category, we had to move into our groups and then research what each of these mean and then create a Model Map to represent our information.
After we had got all of our information we then had to create an infographic (which is information in a graphical form) with all the information from the Model Maps. On Thursday we then started to create our Infographic, we split up and each one did a category. I made the title with a lot of help from other members of our group, then I did a strap line to introduce the readers. After that I did the first category, after I had finished this category I let Katie do the next one, and then Josh did the one after that and then Jordan did the last one. At the end of the infographic we had some space left, so we though that we would add some humour and a bit of nostalgia and add a quote from Looney Tunes "Thats All Folks" in the same font, and we also added a picture of Porky Pig, underneath that we added all of our names.
Overall I think this task went really well as we work good as a team and got our work done without much trouble.

Research Techniques
The piece of work that we are doing right now is to research what Primary and Secondary Sources are, and also find out what Qualitative and Quantitative Research is, we also have to give examples for each one and like some advantages and disadvantages.

Research Techniques!
In today's lesson Jo had set all of our group a task to go out around college and research different things but using different techniques. The whole group all got split up into separate groups, and I went with Chris, Amy and Mollie, our group mainly used the computer to find our information out, we used Google to search for our answers. For the ones that we couldn't use Google we had to find them out ourselves, we had to find a Reference number for a book and we did this by asking the people behind the reception in the Learning Curve. We also had to find a number of definitions so we used a dictionary for this. Some other things we already knew from common knowledge or just peer to peer.
